Welcome to the Province! (~73k)
The common arrival badge. It celebrates leaving Hub limbo and actually living in the shared Province. You should earn the fantasy of this badge simply by playing normally—teleport in, walk lanes, start a job. It is the opposite of a prestige gate.
If you somehow lack it while others have it, rejoin from the official place, finish onboarding prompts, and confirm you are not in a look-alike experience. Official links live on the Wiki.
The Shogunate (~3.6k) — appointed by Imperials
Awarded when you are appointed Shogun through the Imperial appointment fantasy. Thousands of awards mean it is rare relative to Welcome, but not mythical. Still, appointment rules are not published as a tidy public checklist. Prepare with surplus Ryō, coherent identity, housing or status presence, and patient Province participation—see Progression.
Do not buy “Shogun carries,” trust unverified scripts, or assume Game Passes include appointment. Clans can support political stories (Clans) without guaranteeing this badge.
Reign’s End (~218) — revolted against as Shogun
A much rarer political ending: you held Shogun status and were revolted against. The low award count matches how few players both rise and fall in public drama. Hunting this badge on purpose means consenting to conflict RP, not harassing servers for forced revolts.
Pair narrative planning with etiquette: service districts and attendant spaces still deserve manners even during intrigue.
Ambitionless (~424) — life cycle without becoming Shogun
Ambitionless is a complete life ending for OCs who never take the seat. It is not a failure state. Farmers, artisans, merchants, attendants, and performers can finish proud cycles without Shogunate pressure. If your fantasy is quiet craft or stall mastery, this badge may fit better than forcing politics.
Exact “life cycle” UI steps are not fully documented publicly—play sincerely, watch for end-of-life prompts after updates, and avoid guides that invent button sequences.
Instrument Master (3 ever) — expert Performer song perfect
Extremely rare. Tied to expert-level perfect song performance as a Performer. Only a handful of awards exist, so treat tutorials that promise easy unlocks with suspicion. Practical approach:
- Learn Performer loops on Service roles.
- Practice timing until perfect runs are consistent in your client.
- Accept that patch changes may alter difficulty—skim Updates.
